Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ReceiptV application ("the Platform"), you expressly and unequivocally accept these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any of the provisions herein, do not use the Platform.

ReceiptV is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) software service that provides tools for scanning fiscal receipts, managing expenses, and generating reports. The Platform does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advisory services.

2. Exclusive Responsibility of the User

The user is fully and exclusively responsible for:

• all data, documents, and information uploaded or entered into the Platform;
• the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the processed data;
• compliance with tax, accounting, and any other regulations applicable to their business activity;
• financial, tax, or business decisions made based on reports generated by the Platform;
• protection of account access credentials (email, password, authentication token);
• any use of the Platform by third parties to whom they have granted access to their account.

3. Limitation of Liability of ReceiptV

ReceiptV provides the Platform "as-is", without any express or implied warranty, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or absence of errors.

ReceiptV is not liable for:

• errors or inaccuracies in the automatic extraction of data from fiscal receipts by AI services;
• data loss caused by technical failures, cyber-attacks, or force majeure;
• temporary or permanent interruptions of the service;
• incompatibility of the Platform with the specific tax or accounting requirements of the user;
• any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, regardless of their cause;

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of ReceiptV to the user shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the active subscription in the month preceding the incident.

4. Acceptable Use

The user agrees not to use the Platform for:

• illegal or fraudulent activities;
• processing personal data of third parties without their consent;
• uploading content that violates intellectual property rights;
• cyber-attacks, reverse engineering, or any attempt to compromise the security of the Platform;
• reselling or redistributing the services without the written consent of ReceiptV.

Violation of these provisions may lead to the immediate suspension or termination of the account, without refund of the subscription.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

The Lite and Pro plans are paid subscriptions. Paid plans include AI-assisted scanning, processed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Refunds are managed in accordance with the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• ReceiptV does not process or store card or bank details.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights over the Platform (source code, design, trademarks, logos, content) belong to ReceiptV. The user receives a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Platform for their own personal or professional purposes.

The user retains the rights over the data entered by them into the Platform. By using the Platform, the user grants ReceiptV the limited right to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the services.

7. Data Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

8. Service Availability

ReceiptV makes reasonable efforts to maintain the Platform available. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance work, technical failures, or other causes beyond our control.

ReceiptV is not liable for any damages caused by the temporary unavailability of the service.

9. Termination

The user can terminate their account at any time directly from the app, in Profile > Support. ReceiptV may suspend or terminate the user's account in case of violation of these Terms, without prior notice and without obligation of refund.

Upon termination, user data may be deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy. ReceiptV is not liable for data loss resulting from account termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws stated by the platform operator. Any dispute will be resolved amicably. In case of failure to negotiate, disputes shall be submitted to the competent jurisdiction determined by applicable law.

11. Terms Modifications

ReceiptV reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the application or by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after this date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
